Planet Fitness opens at Randhurst Village

Planet Fitness opens at Randhurst Village in Mount Prospect, IL

Just in time for the holiday season, Planet Fitness has opened at Randhurst Village in Mount Prospect, IL, in an over 18,000 SF space filled with the latest cardio, strength, and functional fitness equipment that members have come to expect.

Planet Fitness is just one of the exciting grand openings that have taken place in the last three months, joining Macy’s, Altea Café, and Hong Dae Kitchen, as part of the “Randhurst Renaissance.”

What it about Randhurst that compelled Chief Operating Officer, John Holt to choose Randhurst as the location of his 100th Planet Fitness?

“Randhurst Village has always been a desirable place for us given the community,” said Holt.  “It is a truly retail synergistic relationship, and we’re happy to now be a part of the Randhurst Village family. One hundred clubs has always been a milestone for us.  With our corporate office being just down the road, we couldn’t be happier to have our 100th club opening at Randhurst Village in Mount Prospect. ”

Getting open quickly in time to hit certain time windows is critical for any retailer.

“The first quarter, specifically January, is our peak season,” said Holt. “It’s not only good for Planet Fitness [to open on time], but also for the community of Mount Prospect and those who want to kick off their New Year’s resolution health goals.”
